Candi is an American Saddlebred. Her registered name is Lilly Brill, out of Chairman of the Board. She is 9 years old and shows in Open, A and B circuit shows in Country Pleasure. She is the Queen of our stable and is quite spoiled. Currently she is in foal; due the end of April. She is in foal to a Pinto American Saddlebred out of a Modern Creation horse.

Candi is now on maternity leave so she doesn't look her best. Although we do take great, regular care of her, we prefer not to fuss with "mother" at this time and allow her more preferred peaceful freedom. We're hoping her baby will carry some of daddy's (pictured here) looks!

I purchased Candi 4 years ago. At that time, she was very misunderstood and had been passed from trainer to trainer. It had been a regular occurrence that she would rear over backwards and break crossties because of nervousness from abuse! With time, patience, understanding and hard work she became a wonderful and irreplaceable horse. She is very trusting and gentle now and is easily ridden by my 12 year old daughter. She is a trusted friend, great show and trail horse, and a great MOM. She had a stud colt last year named Midnight Capp O' cino...aka. PITA, who is the pride of Applewood Farm!
